xxxx FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0 Up for sale is my gorgeous, UNMOLESTED xxxx Mustang LX Convertible with the 5.0L V8 (225 HP). This is a 3 owner car. The previous owner owned the car for 17 years, and he purchased the car from the original owner who was his neighbor. This Mustang is mostly original and has ONLY 48,000 ORIGINAL MILES! Its been a Virginia car its whole life and was driven sparingly and only taken out on nice summer days. Its never seen snow and according to the previous owner, never seen rain and has always been garage kept. The entire car was sanded down and repainted in its original Dark Shadow Blue Metallic. It was an excellent paint job. There are zero dings, dents or scratches on the car. There is absolutely no rust showing anywhere on the car. It looks like a 2 year old car. From what I can tell, it has all the original body panels and doors because I can see the original VIN stickers on all these locations and you can see them in the pictures as well. If they were replaced by a body shop, those stickers wouldnt be there which means they were replaced panels. The car has not been in any accidents and has a CLEAN Car Fax report. The power convertible top was replaced in the mid xxxxs and looks brand new and works perfectly. Tires have about 80% tread life. The wheels are in very good condition. A little oxidation but could probably be cleaned up further by a professional detailer. I have the original front license plate bracket as well. The Interior What can I say, just look at the pictures! Its like new! No stains, no rips, no tears, no strange smells on the seats, door panels, or carpet. Its all original! Its never been smoked in. No cracks in the dash. All the lights work as well as the horn, turn signals, wipers and cruise control. AC and heat work fine. The dash lights all work. The original AM/FM stereo with 4 speakers and a cassette tape deck work perfectly with no speaker crackles or issues at all. The Mechanicals The engine and transmission run and shift flawlessly! It doesnt smoke, sputter or hesitate and gets up and GOES when you hit the gas! It doesnt drip or leak any fluids whatsoever. The exhaust is original with the exception of one of the mufflers which was replaced by the previous owner. It sounds great with that nice, deep 5.0 V8 rumble that is all stock. No issues at all. The undercarriage is very clean and not covered up by any undercoating to hide any problems. The car steers down the road straight as an arrow with no pulling whatsoever, even when braking. The brakes on the car have recently been replaced (front pads and rotors and repacked the rear wheel bearings). The shocks and struts have also been replaced. The power steering has been recently flushed and filled. It needs nothing else! I also have all the original paperwork that came with the car including all the manuals, and the paper convertible top instructions that go over the sun visor with delivery. You will be hard pressed to find another Mustang LX 5.0 convertible with this low of miles and this well maintained in an UNMOLESTED condition.
